Last Night of the Proms 11th September 2010 8pm - midnight
The George at Tiffield are proud to present their second Last Night of the Proms picnic in the Garden. Bring along your picnic, chairs and Union Flag boxer shorts. We'll supply live entertainment from Rondeau (duo playing cover versions), live coverage on a large screen of the pomp and circumstance ending of the proms from The Royal Albert Hall, song sheets to join in the singing, flags and party items to make the night an enjoyable one. All this for free (but we do ask you not to supply your own drinks and buy them from us - its only fair isn,t it). Help to keep village pubs alive and music live.
Should the weather prevent outside partying, bring your picnics inside and all will take place inside the pub.
Regular live music nights.
Live music is becoming an important part of the George at Tiffield. Offering Accoustic, Jazz, Folk, open mic, ....? Here's the calendar as it is confirmed at present. Keep checking as more dates could be added as the year goes on - and you do not want to miss out do you?
